Truly, the beauty of the Filipina transcends physical attributes. In the global arena, the Filipina stands out. We have to look no further than former President Cory Aquino as proof of this,

This year's theme, "Beauty in Giving," reflects the generous spirit of the Filipino people. May this maiden pageant serve as a venue to showcase the heart and soul of the Filipina, and become an instrument to further beauty with a purpose and help improve the lives of our less fortunate brethren.
