Four of the country's major fashion designer groups joined CQ Global Quest Inc. Chair & CEO, Miss Cory Quirino in a private luncheon to discuss their participation in the forth coming Miss World Philippines 2011.

Among those who heeded Cory's call to bring back 'glamour and prestige' to Filipino beauty pageants were: Delby Bragaes and Joel Bautista of the Fashion by Wedding Designers of the Philippines (FWDP); Jaz Castro and Levenson Rodriguez of the Fashion Designers Alliance Manila (FaDAL); Frederick Peralta of the Fashion Designers Council of the Philippines (FDCP); and Fanny Serrano and Oscar Peralta of the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines (FDAP). A fifth group, The Cebu Fashion Designers Group was not able to make it to the luncheon but sent word of their full support through it's president Cary Santiago. These designer groups will dress up the Miss World Philippines' finalists and showcase not only the beauty of the Filipina but the genius of the Filipino fashion designers. A formal signing of this partnership is scheduled in May 2011.
